Listia

I just discovered Listia and am hooked! The deal is that you list things you no longer need and people bid on them with credits. You in turn earn credits for completed transactions so you can bid too. I think you get 500 credits to get started. There are some great craft supplies, jewelery, just all kinds of great stuff. If I can't sell it, I can barter it!

SCAL

Well, I have finally entered the modern age of crafting- I just added Sure Cuts A Lot 2 to my Cricut arsenol! All I can say is wow. I feel like a kid in a free candy shop. It's all about the svg baby!!

joining 2011

so I found Postling through Artfire which led me to another really cool app called Tumblr. I think I have linked all my social networks together, and now- fingers crossed, I can postr to each using Postling. We'll see! I swapped technologie time for art time, so I am still tweaking my trashy romance journal. It doesn't have enough stuff on it. My problem is always the same- to be satisfied with an altered project, I embelish to the point that I don't make a dime off of it when it sells! Must work on moderation lol.

Mulligans and blogs

After trying everything to recover my old blog that had all my work from swaps (some pretty good stuff!), I have finally moved on. I have wisely named my new blog to match the name of my Artfire Store- Chain_Reaction. I have been working on jewelery elements lately. Just pieces, nothing complete. Today I switched things up and made a little journal using an old Harlequin Romance paperback for the cover. I had sketch book paper cut to size at Kinkos, drilled it using my Seven Gypsies Bindery Machine (can't work without it!), and sprinkled steamy pages from the book throughout. I'm waiting for some embelishments to dry before I photo it for listing. I think I'll try some vintage hardbacks as well.

Stick with me and I'll have this blog as full of eye candy as my old one! Off to destroy some pulp!!
